Our History
Pacific Intermediaries and Consultants Ltd was established in 2009 by Dr. Shahab Mokhtari. He has nearly 3 decades of industry experience working as the head of the legal and insurance department of a prestigious commercial shipping line and later as the syndicate manager at an International Group P&I Club in London.
Since its establishment in 2009, Pacifics has grown considerably and currently services a number of clients globally in various fields of shipping.
Our Purpose
Our main function as brokers is to define the risk our clients present to us and to find an appropriate home for that risk. This involves analysing your business to determine your exposures in order to advise you on your insurance requirements. Each query is analysed individually and our solutions are tailor made to meet our client’s unique requirements.
Our secondary goal as brokers is the administration and maintenance of our client’s insurance profile as their businesses evolve to meet new challenges in the market.
In claim management, our team of professional claims handlers provide invaluable advice to assist our clients through difficult situations. They are on hand 24/7, 365 days a year, to assist with any emergency situation.
Our claims handlers are experienced UK law graduates and marine insurance professionals with invaluable legal experience with insider knowledge. They work in tandem with the insurers claim teams to deliver the very best advice and guidance to our clients.
